Abib of God Elohim

Our primary function for this site has been simple. We have endeavored to provide the biblical and the technical assistance to those who seek to follow the command to keep the annual appointed times of meeting with God/Elohim (plural). 

As part of this function in the body of Christ/Messiah we have traveled to Israel just prior to the end of the biblical 12th month (lunar) for 19 years now and 20 trips in total. We inspect the wild or volunteer barley, (and domestic barley) as to it's maturity and acceptability as being able to qualify for a potential Wavesheaf Offering. However, we also look for the other 9 witnesses given to us by the Elohim in creation which confirm whether They have decided to change the current year from winter to summer or add a 13th month.

Many ask why is Israel our focus for such things. Why not use the "tools" we have in our own locations to make such determinations?

Deuteronomy 11: 10-14, "For the land which you go to possess is not like the land of Egypt from which you have come, where you sowed your seed and watered it by foot, as a vegetable garden; but the land which you cross over to possess is a land of hills and valleys, which drinks water from the rain of heaven, a land for which the Lord/Yehovah your God/Elohim cares; the eyes of the Lord/Yehovah your God/Elohim are always on it, from the beginning of the year to the very end of the year. And it shall be that you diligently (carefully) listen to (obey) My commandments which I command you today, to love the Lord/Yehovah your God/Elohim and serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul, then I will give you the rain for your land in its season, the early rain and the latter rain, that you may gather in your grain, your new wine, and your oil."

Yes, God/Elohim (plural) control all the elements in the physical location of Israel to proclaim Their appointed times of meeting with Them, which we refer to as festivals or annual holy days. These are annual rehearsals of major events or milestones in the Plan of Salvation for all of mankind. They are to be kept on the exact day that God/Elohim declare biblically, not by the maneuverings or manipulations of men.

We have witnessed many patterns over the years as we have endeavored to find a method of being able to determine the signs from a location when not in the Land. There are very distinct dates in March which are thresholds as to whether the year will be changed or not. We will post them for your use in the near future. There will not be any more scheduled inspection trips planned. There may be a necessity for one in an intercalated year but that is doubtful based on our personal experience gained.
