Happy Preparation Day to All!
It certainly is for some of our grain growing areas in the Land.
Below is a photo provided by our friends at Weather2day and is a welcomed sight. The first of the winter snows on Mt Hermon.
The early rains have been concentrating on the coast and the coastal plain for the greatest intensity but are spreading to the southern grain fields which are awaiting their arrival so they can once again start the Abib Growing Cycle under the direction of our Creators.
Here is the official report as well from our friends at the IMS for today and tonight. This event will keep going in some areas for a while to come yet.
Country forecast for Friday 14/11
"Updated on 14/11 04:40
Today: Occasional showers accompanied by isolated thunderstorms are expected in northern and central Israel. Isolated rain is expected in the northern Negev. Risk of floods in the coastal plain and along the coast. From midday a slight risk of flash floods in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea wadis. A significant drop in temperatures, becoming unseasonably low. Tonight: Occasional showers accompanied by isolated thunderstorms are expected in northern and central Israel. Risk of floods in the coastal plain and along the coast. Isolated rain is expected in the northern Negev. A slight risk of flash floods in the Judean Desert and Dead Sea wadis."
It has been a frenzy of planting grain in some of the traditionally early areas these past 5 days as the promise of germinating rain was becoming a reality.
In 7-10 days we will witness the "greening" of the Land as she develops her winter colors. Such a beautiful thing to witness, with such an amazing purpose.
Our peace we give to you!
