Happy Preparation Day to all!
It did not take long for the first flight of white storks to follow up behind the greater pelicans. But, it is September and the migrations from Europe and Asia are underway as usual.
The unusually dry weather in much of the summer nesting grounds in Europe has cause a lot of stress on many species this year. It will be interesting to see how it all play out in terms of migration numbers in the first waves.
