Hi Again Folks,
Before we get to the photos and an opportunity to put another piece of the agricultural pattern into your memory banks I have a request.
There are new folks who want to know how we can speak so boldly about the most likely outcome of the Abib Growing Cycle from back in November while not living in Israel?
Now I know there are a good 90-100 of you who understand how this is done and do it yourselves. So why don't a few of you jump forward and write up a simple list of things that make that possible. You don't have to reiterate them all just lets say, the 2 most important to you.
In doing so you will be able to fulfill the requirement of building up the Body in this venue. We don't have to put your name to it if you don't want as that is not what is important. Its not about who says what is right but the fact what is right is said.
However, you will need to send them over via the email at the top of this page as you old timers know. If you don't have email then send over a request to post with a "preview" and then someone here will actually open it to read, otherwise it gets deleted without opening.
I usually send new folks who are asking things like this to the past records, but most don't want to spend the time. This time of year I send them to the Typical March Calendar located on the information band above and also to the article regarding the 10 witnesses which is found on the website in How to Determine the Month of Abib when not in the Land.
We will be putting most of our focus on the other 9 witnesses in the Land to the change from winter to summer for the duration of this cycle reporting.
Just as the acceptable unblemished barley has not spoken up neither have the 9 supporting witnesses found in scripture either. But they are important to learn about.
So, now for the pictures, eh!
Once again the first one speaks volumes to us about the growing season to date. Yes, the iris is beautiful but don't get lost on that. Look around it.
We see wild oats to the left which have died prematurely due to the dryness of this cycle. When in that blemished and weakened state it gets attached by the enemy of all grains: ergot. That is the black moldy looking substance growing on it.
Look around at the leaves and stalks as well and you will see the attack on this location is well underway. The small stalks are most likely wild barley as it follows the lead of the wild oats this time of year. We have been posting about the effects of the lack of sustainable water in the soils in some of the regions and this is just one more example of what can happen in a growing cycle under these meteorological conditions.
Photo 2 is from the same general area. Look at the dying tillers on some of these as well. Another casualty. As you know from the past, if we pulled the plant and examine the root system, it would have lots of blemishes on it.
The next 2 photos show the entire cast of characters: domestic, wild, oats, tares, thistles, and flowers.
Then a couple of photos of the current growth condition of the domestic grain from the Center and the South.
Our peace we give to you!
