Sabbath December 13, 2025

Good Morning and a Happy Sabbath to All!

What a wild week in the Land. Record rainfall in many areas once again. A lot of damage to agricultural fields located on some of the hillsides from rain runoff. And then there is all the damage to infrastructure and flooded homes.

The IMS will no doubt post a summary after Sabbath and if so, we will put it up and in the records for this Abib Growing Cycle.

The rate of grain maturity will slow down dramatically now, both domestic and wild.

We have a lot of photos from the past week to demonstrate what winter in Israel looks like from the north to the south. Snow on Hermon and floods in the south. Quite the December look.

You will also see some nice photos of wild grain, both oats and barley. For you new comers to following the growing cycle in the Land on a weekly basis you will need to know that the first of the wild oats matures 2-3 weeks ahead of the first of the wild barley growing in good ground and in semi-good ground. When found in rocky ground all bets are off due to the dynamics of the soils and the meteorological conditions present in them. Thus a lot of the green areas of wild you see at this time are wild oats.

If anyone has any photos they want to share with others here on the Page and website send them over via the communication method we use located at the top of the Page here.

We hope your Sabbath rest is full of time spent with our Creators.

Our peace we give to you!
