Good morning again and a happy and healthy Sabbath to you All!
Folks are once again asking what we put into our decision to keep the start of the Month of Abib. In most cases those are new folks to our posts and looking to catch up with our thinking and reckoning methods. However, at times it is some asking about the particular year we are currently in.
So, in this post we will cover our methods of gaining knowledge and understanding in a current year and how we apply that to make wise decisions before the actual time to declare them.
One reminder first. This is a non-posting site. We do not open requests to post so we have no idea what you are saying: good, bad, or indifferent. You will need to use the email address provided at the head of this page.
Over the years it has become a simple process for us to make an informed decision on when the new year starts by watching the patterns in the Land as they advance through the Abib Growing Cycle. There are 10 witnesses to it described and listed in the scriptures for us to gain understanding from. I have attached a copy of a typical March Calendar for everyone to follow along with here.
Let me also inform the many new comers to this site this cycle, that there are many brethren who use it for information, who have mastered the same methodology that we use. So, when I say Linda and I, that includes many more brethren as well.
Important commands to understand before we move on here.
Exodus 22:29-30 You shall not delay the first of your ripe produce and your juices (Like Cain did, this command goes back a long time, eh!). The firstborn of your sons you shall give to Me. Likewise you shall do with your oxen and your sheep. It shall be with its mother seven days; on the eighth day you shall give it to Me.
These, dear brethren, are not suggestions and they apply to our time. Some have told me no they don’t. Really. In Mark 4:26-29 our Lord and Savior gives us the same instruction about the process of growing grain and when the harvest starts. No delaying it.
Mark 4:26-29 And He said, the kingdom of God/Elohim is as if a man should scatter seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head (aviv: physiological maturity when it can reproduce itself). But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.
To me personally that instructs me that the spiritual reality of this physical process says once the Bride has reached the required maturity level in required numbers that she will be collected into the Household of Father. But for that process to start there has to be the First of the Firstfruits Wavesheaf offering qualifying and brought into the House. I believe Christ fulfilled that roll on my behalf. Thus, we need to apply Exodus 23:19 to our methodology to acknowledging the start of the Month of Abib.
Exodus 23:19 The (very) First of the Firstfruits of your land you shall bring into the house of Yehovah your Elohim…
When does that 7 week process start?
Deuteronomy 16:9 You shall count seven weeks for yourself; begin to count the seven weeks from when you begin the sickle to the grain.
Please notice the preceding verses in Deut. 16 instruct us it is right after Passover. The first day of the week in the 7 days of UB and not completing the harvest prior to Passover.
As well be cautioned, we cannot delay that. And of course, we are talking about a blemish free most holy grain offering, not some anemic and sickly goat grass.
There is a movement afoot by some to delay that First of the Firstfruits command by offering it after the entire barley harvest is complete. That is them declaring Christ was placed in cold storage somewhere until everyone else is collected and placed in the Household and then offering Him as the Wavesheaf. How Biblical ignorant is that!
There are many more scriptures in these simple commands and patterns but that is something you new comers can find on the website or past reports.
Let’s list which of the 10 witnesses will be present prior to Passover on March 25 this Gregorian year. Of course, that would be starting after sunset on the 24th.
We will easily have enough Leviticus 2:14 barley (both domestic and wild; the two barley sisters) witnessing to the fact it is the 1st month of the Biblical year before Passover. For Linda and I, we use the 10th of the first month. We actually hope to find fields in that condition by the end of the 12th month but that is yet to be seen. If not, we follow the growth rates for the remainder of the time and apply the meteorological conditions to it. Very simple and very accurate. With the traditionally early fields being in stage 5 with, some into stage 6 currently, we know that there will be lots of locations to acquire a First of the firstfruits Wavesheaf offering from prior to its required time during the Days of UB. We are about to enter into a sustained duration (over 24 days) of sun and warmth in the grain growing regions if the weather prophets are accurate. Easy call for our methodology to follow the commands.
The sheep are splitting at the seams to give birth to this year’s lambs. We have been following them in many different regions of the country. There will be huge amounts of lambs meeting the required 7 days before separating them from their mums for a sacrifice. In this case for Passover and being separated from them by the 10th of the first Month called Abib, which should coincide with March 21.
When we have conditions like we have currently with these two Biblical witnesses to the changing of the year from winter to summer it is a done deal folks based on our understandings of scriptural and agricultural patterns.
Well, what about the other 8 Biblical witnesses?
Glad you asked!
Over the decades of active involvement in the patterns in the Land we have been able to publish the traditional dates when the other 8 witnesses present their testimony during the first month, that being Abib. Many of the old timers to this site have proven them over and over again to themselves. That is because many of these witnesses are dependent on the degree of sunshine to have them complete their Elohim given ability, to witness to the timing of the new year.
We may see some of them like the white storks start coming into the land sometime in the next 2 weeks. However, that is not the real witness as you can see by going back through our yearly reports and articles published. The main migration is a wonder to witness too as 10’s of thousands of them soar overhead crying out their witness. Now onto the typical March dates in the attached file for each with some listed criteria to explain them with some rules and guidelines.
