Sabbath February 28, 2026: Take 3

Good morning once again and a happy Sabbath to you big “C” Christians,

In continuing on the subject of this being the first month in the year and the abomination of using goat grass to proclaim it, we are going to put together the simple Biblical Arithmetic of the pattern commanded in scripture as to where a Most Holy Grain offering and the First of the Firstfruit grain offering can come from. If you did not know a grain offering holds such Biblical significance we will help you with that today as well. Its all part of the work sheet required to get the correct answer.

My high school Mathematics teacher would never give a full credit mark for just giving him the correct answer. He would grade that as only part of the work. He wanted to see how we got to it. That required us showing all the components of numbers that enabled us to get the correct answer. That is what we are going to do today. We will show you the correct answer and simple equation to get to it and then show you all the Biblical commands and patterns that enables us to get to the correct answer.

Here is the simple Biblical Equation on this subject:

1) Plowed and tilled and leveled fields = good ground.

2) Good ground is then sown/planted

1+2 = 3) location for a Most Holy grain offering and no other.

So, if the location is not worked for planting and then sown it is not an acceptable location for a First of the Firstfruit Wavesheaf Offering period.

Let’s start with the Biblical facts which assisted us in arriving at the correct answer. That can only begin with the laws governing grain offerings and in particular those which are assigned to the Hogh Priest and those assigned to the First of the Firstfruit grain offering.

Leviticus 2:3 (Standard NKJ translation which suffices)

“The rest of the grain offering shall be Aaron’s and his sons’. Most holy of the offerings to Yehovah made by fire.”

Now Leviticus 2:14:

“If you offer a grain offering of your firstfruit (#1061 bikkuwr) to Yehovah, abib (#24 physiologically mature grain) roasted with fire (to remove the remaining moisture after all the starches have peaked and able to reproduce itself), beaten out kernels (#1643), from a planted field or garden (#3759 something you maintain), you shall bring near for a grain offering your firstfruit (bikkuwr).

This is the original sentence structure and the actual meaning of the Hebrew words without being tampered with by experts pursuing their own agenda. Thus, no goat grass for it must come from fields you maintain year in and year out just like Isaiah instructs us. No wonder they put forth a different translation of karmel.

Now we go to Isaiah for the Biblical command which instructs us in righteous decision making.

Isaiah 28:23-26

"Listen up and pay attention to what I am saying, listen and to every word I am speaking. Does the plowman keep plowing all day to sow? (no because he would be missing several important steps before the ground was ready for sowing) Does he keep turning his soil and breaking the clods? (No because there is still one more task before he can sow Biblically) When he has leveled its surface does he not now sow the black cummin and scatter the cummin, plant the wheat in rows, the barley in the appointed place, and the spelt in its place! His Elohim teaches him and instructs him in righteous judgment/decision making.”

In spite of this very pointed and simple to understand command grifters, deceivers, and people of stupor are able to sway some actually called of Father to disregard these Biblical commands as to planting and sowing the grain, all the grain which Native Israel used for offerings and for their sustenance came from these locations.

It was a planned out process, with lots of work going into it before any grain could be sown/planted. It did not end there did it. No, it didn’t for there was also the instructions as to the proper way of sowing and planting in the right locations which had been prepared beforehand. Wheat was to be planted in rows and barley in its appointed place in the plowed prepared locations.

Absolutely no unplowed and prepared locations acceptable and no locations of those unless the seeds had been sown or planted. What is so hard to comprehend about this Biblical command and agricultural pattern.

Let’s now include the next part of the equation if this is not enough according to Mr. Colton my mathematics instructor.

Matthew 13:3-9

“Then He spoke many things to them in parables, saying: behold, a sower went out to sow. #1) And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside (better translated wasteland); and the birds came and devoured them. #2) Some fell on stony places, where they did not have much earth; and they immediately sprang up because they had no depth of earth. But when the sun was up, they were scorched, and because they had no root they withered away. #3) And some fell among thorns, and the thorns sprang up and choked them. #4) But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty. He who has ears to hear, let him listen up!”

Here we have our Savior spelling out the 4 general soil locations in the Land. It was very clear to the inhabitants of His day here on earth because of the agricultural society they lived in. Those are the same 4 locations we point out every Abib Growing Cycle in the Land. Only one of them is where acceptable barley can come from both domestic and wild in representation of the function of our Lord and Savior for our inclusion into Spiritual Israel as Gentiles.

That is the Biblical description of good soil and that which is not good soil. Grain is not to be sown in waist soil, stoney soil, and weed infested soil (which is unprepared soil). Those 3 soil situations are not to be used for a Most Holy Grain offering. But for grazing sheep, goats, and cattle.

What is acceptable?

Good soil which has been plowed, turned, broken down, and leveled prior to one seeding it. That good soil can come in varying degrees of quality which will determine the size of the yield at harvest time. That is really simple to understand for anyone who has prepared their soils for planting year after year.

But let’s not lose sight of the key activity in all of this. The seed must be SOWN by someone! Look at this once again stressed by our Lord and Savior in Mark 4:26-29. Once again it is placed in the context of the Kingdom just as Matthew 13 was to emphasize the importance it is to have, to us who have been called by Father and chosen by Christ/Messiah to go beyond the milk of the word as Paul instructs us in Hebrews and as Christ Himself did.

“And He said, the kingdom of God/Elohim is as if a man should sow seed on the ground, and should sleep by night and rise by day, and the seed should sprout and grow, he himself does not know how. For the earth yields crops by itself: first the blade, then the head, after that the full grain in the head. But when the grain ripens, immediately he puts in the sickle, because the harvest has come.”

Here is our Lord and Savior giving us the condensed version of Zadoks Growth Scale in a parable. He had already established what type of ground is being used. He once again says the seed must be sown!

If someone comes to you and says you are to follow him in his delusion of using wild barley growing in any of the 3 bad soil situations and unsown by man, shake the dust off your feet and move on or you will become a part in his abominable acts. We are to stand in the breech for the sake of the babes and weary in such things until they can get replenished and in the case of babes until they are able to stand on their own two feet and have a one on one relationship with Christ/Messiah.

This is the worksheet to get to the correct answer. If someone does not understand or accept this Biblical fact then it is not for them at this time as Christ so aptly applies the following. Its just not their time to understand now during these Second Marriage Covenant times with the specific terms and conditions applied to it in Fathers calling.

Matthew 13:10-15

“And the disciples came and said to Him, why do You speak to them in parables? He answered and said to them, because it has been given to you to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it has not been given. For whoever has, to him more will be given, and he will have abundance; but whoever does not have, even what he has will be taken away from him. Therefore, I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. And in them the prophecy of Isaiah is fulfilled, which says: hearing you will hear and shall not understand, and seeing you will see and not perceive; for the hearts of this people have grown dull. Their ears are hard of hearing, and their eyes they have closed, lest they should see with their eyes and hear with their ears, lest they should understand with their hearts and turn so that I should heal them.”

Now onto the fourth post for today for the pictures of the grain in the Land this week.

Our peace we give to you!
