Good Morning Brethren and a Happy Sabbath to All!
Lots to be thankful for. We hope you are all doing well in your walk with the Lamb this Abib Growing Cycle. For those of you who do not follow the Lamb of Fathers household we also hope you too are well in these turbulent times.
Based on some questions one of the "hebrew scholars" must have had some words about Strong's definition of abib. I will answer it in a later post.
And yes, lots of photos and videos of goat grass to those who are asking. Except for one of Devorah's which was a domestic field that had suffered a premature death and the owners were doing their best to at least salvage some silage from it. The right idea though.
There are locations I videoed last year of domestic barley and wheat with wild barley growing in them which will be aviv as I write. They always are by this time but no one has been there to photo.
So yes once again, not sure why the Land based folks are not going to them. They are well known locations.
For us, the start of the Biblical New Year has been known for quite some time as the witnesses in this years posts attests to. Follow the Lamb wherever He goes. The only unknown is the actual day of the first month. We know for a fact it is either Sunday night at sunset or Monday night at sunset as Sunday night is only the conclusion of the 29th day in this lunar cycle.
So on with the news and photos from today.
The first photo is of one of our early domestic locations in the Megiddo District. You have seen it many times this year. It is a mixed field which is quite common in the area: of two row barley, spelt, and wheat. This means it was always slated to be used for silage for the dairy cows in the milking operations near by.
I was going to post this photo yesterday but the day got away from me. Others were going to go with it as they had entered the dough stages as well. (Zadok Stage).
Too late I was, as you can see.
The following photos are from today of this location. Oh yes, the general condition of the field was the early dough stages which is the threshold for cutting and semi drying silage before storing it and letting it ferment a bit. Yes the cows like that! Makes the milk better???
Notice the varying color stages of this location based on the higher to lower areas and the concentrations of specific grain. The heat of the past few days pushed these grains to hit the mark. Chop-chop as Linda would say.
Then we are off to the sheep and the goats. The first two are of sheep which have dropped their lambs. The lambs are too tender to be out and about yet. By the way green in English is a synonym for young/tender.
The next one is a flock of goats in the same state of affairs.
We will have a couple more posts later today.
Our peace we give to you.
