Good Morning and Happy Sabbath Folks,
We have an assortment of photos today primarily focused on the new folks getting visual displays of some of the witnesses we follow in the Land and some we don't for they are false or fake.
Areas in the South got a nice drink of rain yesterday which they certainly needed for the stretch of warm and dry weather approaching for this coming week. Lets see if it will be balanced or not, as some locations we have been following are quite stressed and any kind of sustained hot and dry spell will render them useless for harvest as grain.
What we can expect to happen this week is the arrival of a lot of migrating birds and in specific white storks, swallows, and swifts. They will ride the south winds up through the desert regions and into areas where they will put on their Biblical witness to all who have eyes to see.
Lets start the photos today with some trees. The almonds this year have been putting on quite a sustained display as they always do in an intercalated year in the Land. That is a pattern that has been observed over multiple decades.
Then we have Ido telling us his groves of figs and olives are waking up. His vineyards are still sleeping away but with the weather change this coming week many of the vineyards across the Land will start showing their little green leaves shooting forth.
And of course you old timers are familiar with the look of the first half of March in purple and yellow on the landscape. Always speaking in harmony together as they approach the end of their witness.
Then a collection of tares, oats, and goat grass (wild barley growing in poor soils) located on the coast. See if you can pick out each of them in many different growth stages which is always the case when found in poor soils in the following 3 photos.
And lets not forget the acceptable grain. Still slowly moving through Zadoks Growth stages as it is designed to do with the meteorological conditions present in much of the Land this Abib Growing Cycle. But that too is about to change by the end of this week. All the acceptable grain: domestic and wild barley growing side by side in Biblically defined agricultural soils will now quicken the pace. Some areas will be ready for a sampling First of the Firstfruit Wavesheaf Offering by the end of the 13th month which we are now in.
Once again for the new folks, the Biblical Year has only one starting point and that is the Month of the Abib as defined in Exodus 12. Thus some years have 12 lunar months and some have 13 like the current one we are in. Please keep in mind that the Calendar we follow is Christ/Messiah centered as He is the start of everything for us. He is both the Lamb and the Firstfruit of Fathers household. We follow Him wherever He goes and not the other way around.
