Good morning and Happy Sabbath to All!
Lots to be thankful for this week here in the USA. We are sure it is likewise for most of you as well regardless of your location. Linda and I made it back to TN yesterday after maneuvering through 4-8 inches of heavy lake squall snows coming off Lake Erie in PA and Ohio. We made it through at the onset of it, yesterday during the day the highways were shut down with some areas receiving over 20 inches of blowing snow.
And then there is Israel. Our second home in many respects and in time spent. The region south of the Jezreel Valley has once again received near perfect conditions for the newly germinated grain fields to move up through the initial stages of Zadoks code of growth.
Here are a few pictures of that taking place from Yifat as she takes one of her daily excursions through the many different areas she hikes in. This is Gal'Ed which many of you are familiar with and will recognize these fields immediately. For those not familiar you will see a lot of them over and over again through the Abib Growing Cycle during this years postings. You can also go back through the years and see them as well. What is nice about that is you can note the Gregorian Calendar date on them and thus compare to this current year and in doing so become very familiar with them and then knowing what to expect in the future.
For those newcomers to understanding Biblical agricultural principles as applied to soil types and what is acceptable for grain growing and what is not please take note of several of these different fields here. There are a lot of little stones of average consistency of size strewn throughout the soil. These enhance the ability of all grains to grow more consistently during the winter month when located in an area which receives a lot of sunshine. They absorb the heat from the constant sunshine even though the temperatures are cold. That allows the plants to spread roots sideways more readily not unlike some weeds do as its pattern. This way when rains are brief and evaporate quickly the little amount of rain that enters below the surface is utilized in a greater way by the plant collecting it. Keep in mind they also have a deeper root center as well. Such a perfect pattern formed in the mind of our Elohim and placed in creation.
This is only applied to locations which can actually be plowed and planted as Isaiah instructs us in such Biblical Principals of agriculture. You can access all of the instructions of such on the website and in posts here on our Facebook Page.
Who knows what is growing under foot in the last photo?
Our peace we give to you.
