Good Morning Folks,

Here is an assessment for January and forecast for the upcoming hoped for rain event later this week. It has been moving slowly and may pick up the pace.

It will be welcomed in several regions but not in some of the forecasted amounts as those numbers will damage an already stressed growing cycle in multiple ways.

In the south there are some fields of domestic grain in the head with stocks only 4-8 inches tall. Very anemic and brings to remembrance some there last year in the same condition. The wild barley at those locations is following suit.

Our traditional early locations in the Center are doing well but could use a good drink this week. The domestic and the wild growing together there are bearing a good witness to what we look for, a blemish free First of the Firstfruits Wavesheaf offering standard of most holy grain.
