Good morning Folks,
We hope the start to the work week is headed in a good direction.
To date this has been the most beautiful bloom of winter flowers I have ever seen in the Land. And I am not alone it that understanding. The combination of meteorological conditions in the Land this winter has obviously been responsible for that. One for the records.
I have not been intentionally been neglecting many of the others sounds and signs of the 12th Biblical Month so let’s cover a few of them. From here on out we will start looking at the rest of the 10 Biblical Witnesses in creation in the Land for instructing us as to when our Elohim have decided to change from winter to summer in Their place of focus on the earth.
There are around 1,000 White Storks flying around the Negev and not looking like they are in any hurry to fly further north. A few have broken away and started north but not a lot. Of course that is a normal pattern at the end of February. The big noisy spires in the sky of their migration north will not be seen for at least a week in any numbers. The conditions this year only enhance that.
You old timers will remember the sequencing of the migration with the timing of the frogs in the Hula Valley finishing their propagation life cycle. The noise of the mating frogs has been near defining at night there. Thus, they have fulfilled their life cycles primary command. Bring on the White Storks. Our Elohim have it all in order for Their creation to continue.
The question is often asked, what about the Cranes that are there all winter? The biggest reason they winter there is that the folks who run the sanctuary there feed them. We have shown that in the past for reference. They actually grow the grains and store them for feeding the Cranes so they can draw in winter customers willing to pay. Keep in mind there are Cranes which actually migrate up from Africa as well. In a few days the Refuge will stop feeding the thousands of wintering cranes and the birds will fly the coop so to speak for a northern exposure for the summer months.
Lots of sheep have been dropping lambs this past week. Too bad they are Biblically banned for use in the unbiblical passover some are keeping in a couple of days. For those who do not understand why check your Bibles for the answer. Its easy to find.
Keep in focus there are still a lot of ewes which are still carrying as well. Here are photos from this past week of flocks scattered around the country. Even the deep south. Hard to comprehend they find food in such stark environments as that.
The second half of winters flowers are holding their own but their time is winding down. No figs or vines giving their witness yet. In a week or two that will change.
A photo of tares mixed in with some wild barley and flowers. Try distinguishing which is which.
Then a good photo showing the age of wild barley growing on the left and domestic grain on the right which was planted after the first of the early rains. The wild was in the ground and shows it germinated long before the domestic next to it. The wild is in Zadok 7 stage at the most.
Disregard the color as the sun is low on the horizon and makes the awns and thus the heads appear yellow. Before someone makes a claim that I don't know the elevation of the sun and that has nothing to do with the color just look at the shadows cast by the horses and their riders.
Then a look around the country at the diverse changes from North to the deep South.
Our peace we give to you!
