RE: Wild Barley Ignorance
Each and every Abib Growing Cycle there comes a time when the ignorance spiel about wild barley in the Land hits a feverish pitch. We are almost there this cycle. Just another couple of days for it to crescendo.
So, lets once again get grounded in the simple facts.
There are dozens of varieties of wild barley growing in the Land. You can have many growing on the same hillsides and pasture areas. They even change variety by elevation and how much sun a hillside gets as in the Jordan Valley’s non agricultural areas.
Each variety has its own unique growing preferences. That is why it is called wild or hordeum spontaneum.
But here is the clincher folks: they all are composed of 14 chromosomes consisting of 7 sets of them, both mother and father combined in each set. Thus, they self-pollinate.
However, what each of these wild varieties does not have is the linked gene BT1-BT2. Because of that each one of them shatters after they reach physiological maturity. That takes place at times when only some of the seeds have reached that state of growth. Wild barley was never created to be harvested but to be used as a food source for grazing sheep, goats, cattle, and other 4 legged vegetation eaters. It was never harvested in the Promised Land for its grain.
IT IS A VERY BLEMISHED grain as such. No consistency whatsoever when found in soils that do not qualify for a Most Holy Grain offering or for a First of the Firstfruit Grain offering.
Several varieties are used by us as indicators of the timing of the Month of the Abib commencing. But only if they are growing in Biblically acceptable locations from which a Most Holy Grain offering can come from. Oh yes, a Biblical rule given to us by both Isaiah and Christ/Messiah. If you have missed that look to the Sunday March 15th post.
When found in fields which have been plowed, prepared, and sown by man wild barley have a very consistent pattern as we have demonstrated for decades. The most consist one is what we call the “red strain.” It is always the earliest to mature, as well as the biggest seeds which have red streaks on them. I look at that as being reminiscent of the blood of Christ/Messiah as He was being threshed or beaten out.
Wild barley found growing amongst domestic barley is a beautiful sight to see as many of you understand. It usually towers over its domestic sister and for that matter its domestic cousin the wheat. It has very long full heads which bow deeply before the Creators.
Unfortunately, due to its lack of the BT1-BT2 linked gene it shatters once it reaches physiological maturity which simply means the seeds can reproduce themselves. Its domestic sister can continue on for many weeks after reaching that stage of growth. She can stand in the face of the elements thrown against here. The seeds need a lot of force to separate them. Thus, it is and was, the only barley that is harvestable by Biblical standards for a Most Holy Grain offering and for a First of the Firstfruits Wavesheaf Grain offering.
Now here is where we need to understand the spiritual reality to all of this. The First of the Firstfruit Wavesheaf offering which commences the early harvest represents our Savior; the Christ/Messiah, as He is the Bread of Life to us just as He explained to all in the gospel account of John.
He took the beating; the threshing one might call it, on our behalf for entrance into the count of the Bride which was not completed under the terms and conditions of the First Marriage Covenant.
Native Israel fell short of that function, thus a Second Marriage Covenant was enacted as the first came to an end. Paul gives us very clear instruction in the book of Hebrews as he does in the book of Romans on that.
The problem here is most do not understand any of that and as such can use a false representation of our Christ/Messiah as a completely blemished First of the Firstfruit Most Holy Grain offering. It has no strength to endure force when confronted by it. It completely falls apart. That dear brothers and sisters is an unholy abomination when used to describe and depict the character and actions of our Savior. He had both the spirit of man and the spirit of the Elohim working in Him to give the strength He would require. Yes, the BT1 and BT2 working together in Him just like in us.
But our adversary the devil absolutely loves this mischaracterization of our Messiah. He fosters this thinking and narrative and causes many to stumble. Remember what Paul instructs us in 1 Corinthians 2:9-12
“But as it is written: eye has not seen, nor ear heard, nor have entered into the heart of man the things which God/Elohim has prepared for those who love Him. But God/Elohim has revealed them to us through His spirit. For the spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God/Elohim. For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him. Even so no one knows the things of God/Elohim except the spirit of God/Elohim. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world (again), but the spirit which is from God/Elohim, that we might know the things that have been freely given to us by God/Elohim.”
Not much more to say on that instruction as applied to those of us called of Father here at the end of the age. So don’t struggle with why someone else can’t see the truth in this process. It’s not their time to. That will come at a future date if they have not been called by Father and drawn to Christ/Messiah at this time. Thus, we must never eat from their table for it is heaped up with things we are not to internalize. Abominable things.
Stay focused to your calling and the patterns in scripture which have the ability to understand!
Attached are 3 photos from yesterday of wild barley growing in Biblically acceptable good ground amongst domestic grain. In the first 2 just look for the horizontal heads bowing deeply. That wild barley is just about ready to shatter with some already there as you can see if you have any training in the field.
Now think back to the fields of domestic grain which you have seen here on this site 10-14 days ago which was being harvested for silage. Those fields had entered the dough stages and were at or near the Leviticus 2:14 threshold for an acceptable first of the firstfruit grain offering. Now just imagine what those fields would look like today if they had not been cut for silage.
This is very simple to grasp brethren. No magic to it, no scholar required.
In the 3rd photo you can see wild barley completely taking over a domestic grain field. That is what happens sometimes in tilled ground folks. That location must have sat fallow last year thus allowing a lot of wild barley seed to enter the soil. Then this year it was plowed and seeded. Thus a huge amount of wild healthy barley entering the dough stages. We have shown you videos of this very thing in the past. They are in the archives for you to review when ever you feel like it.
The witness of the white stork is just amazing as of today. There are 10's of thousands of them passing through the Land forming their big spires in the sky and resting and feeding in the fields. It is something every single one of us should witness if we can. Many of you have in past inspections and know what an amazing Biblical witness they give.
And yes, the grapes are giving their scent and the sour grape is forming just as Isaiah instructs us in their witness to the change from winter to summer.
We are about to enter the start of the new Biblical Year and the Month of the Abib. At least those of us who ascribe to the Biblical patterns of the 10 witnesses in creation in the Land given to us by our Elohim to assure we keep the timing of the annual appointed times of rehearsing the spiritual realities they speak to.
Until later, our peace we give to you.
