Once again we are hoping your diligence in following the signs and milestones of the Abib Growing Cycle is paying dividends of understanding and awareness, which can be used to make wise decisions as to the start of the Biblical Year. That way you are not caught unaware.
When reading the IMS report update on the rains falling in one area and not in another my thoughts turned to Amos 4:7 which we have used for decades to gain an understanding of where we should look for the first of the firstfruits of barley in the March corridor of the Gregorian Calendar. It also instructs us to be taking note of it all 3 months prior to the harvest. Just in case you have wondered why we do that. We actually carry that out farther to the entire yearly cycle.
Amos 4:7 I also withheld rain from you, when there were still three months to the harvest. I made it rain on one city, I withheld rain from another city. One part was rained upon, and where it did not rain the part withered.
This is a pattern assigned to the Land. It is important that we understand the intents of it. That is why we have so many traditionally early field locations around the country of Israel to inspect. We watch the rains and where they are in adequate proportions to achieve an early germination with sustained growth from the waters above. That is where we head to first to undertake our inspections of the barley; both domestic and wild for all the many reasons we have repeatedly spoke about for many, many years.
We also point out many locations that have withered as assigned above in Amos 4:7. Unfortunately many have been deceived into thinking these are qualified plants for a most holy, First of the Firstfruits Wavesheaf Offering.
As a result there are no last second vain attempts to find locations in a happenstance method. That is why we have consistently told you where we would find barley meeting the minimum requirements or not for a wavesheaf offering to take place on Wavesheaf Sunday during the days of Unleavened Bread.
It is all a matter of using the technologies of this age and the reporting agencies who use them and apply them to the Word of Elohim and His wonderful patterns in creation.
