Tuesday November 19, 2024: Take 3

Good Morning once again,

For those who are new to this process of following the grain crops in the Land from planting to harvest ready status or aviv as we have termed it we have two pictures for you here. They are of wheat after germination this week. Marina's co-op has contracts for some early wheat and thus irrigates those fields with overhead moveable equipment which can soak a field in no time. These do not count for the start of the growing cycle because the waters did not come from heaven.

However, they show you what new grain looks like coming out of the soil. Take these photos and compare them with the visual age ones in the Zadok scale file at the top of this Page. Then determine what stage they are currently in. It is good practice for new comers as well as seasoned ones.
