Good Morning Folks,
We hope your day is off to a good start.
Some folks would like one more run through of some of our traditionally early locations so that is the sole purpose of this post.
Here you will see fields from the North, Central, and NW Negev (South). See if you can identify which are from where.
The heads you will see are from wheat just emerging from the boot. In Israel wheat is planted at the same time as barley here at the end of the age. Some folks still can't grasp that understanding but that once again is okay.
The simple fact of the matter is if a field of barley and a field of wheat are planted beside each other before the first of the early rains arrive they will reach the physiological age of "aviv" at exactly the same time because they have the same growth stages and timing in Zadoks Code of growth.
All the fields you see here will be ready for harvest some time in April regardless, being barley or wheat.
There is a good example of what the low morning and low evening sun does to the look of very young grain to see once again in one photo. It will look like 3 different colors based on angle of field to the suns rays. The lower section of green displays this clearly with rays hitting some of it. Apply that to the two distant locations of grain. Some have used such illusions to profess maturity in the past. Not!
I will put up the IMS summary from yesterday for the record here after this post.
Our peace we give to you!
