Hi Folks,
As a follow up to yesterdays post on the sheep I should have added some of the goats as well. As you old timers know the goats can start to drop in January. It is a well established pattern in several varieties.
Here are a couple of photos from this week to illustrate that. All goats do not comply with this early dropping so don't let anyone use it to put doubt into your understanding and learning process as to the start of the year for there are a few who try every year. They usually try to pair it as one of their witnesses with their favorite witness of goat grass or anemic unacceptable wild barley grown in non agricultural ground.
