Happy Sabbath Folks!

We hope your transition from the work week to this holy rest day was complete and peaceful.

It has been a busy week in the Land with some of the 10 Witnesses showing up in small numbers. That in itself speaks volumes to us as to where we are in the Abib Growing Cycle and the start of the upcoming Biblical new year on March 20th after sunset. That will be the end of this 30 day Biblical 12th month as seen and configured for the Land.

Some are interested in why I do not accept contributions for the work we do in the Biblical Calendar and the Abib Growing Cycle. Its pretty simple. The truth is free, period; just as scripture instructs us. We use our own funds generated by the sweat of our own brow to conduct any and all work related to our function in the Body of Christ/Messiah. And yes, a pastor of a flock is due his wages if he in fact has the gift of being a pastor and if he actually does that function. I am not a pastor for I do not have that gift. And once again, neither are the grifters and hucksters running around the Land declaring the barley harvest is on. PT Barnum material they are. Run for your life from them.

Hopefully that satisfies those who are curious and if not it is unfortunate; for now we move on from that.

The big White Pelicans have entered the Land in their migration this year. That will pick up in numbers shortly just as the White Storks will.

By the way, there is a gentle rain falling in parts of the country today. That is a nice and welcomed event.

The bloom of the wild flowers is really something to see this Abib Growing Cycle. The purple thermos (local name) are hitting their peak and the yellow chrysanthemum's are just stunning for many in many locations in the country. They are my favorite this time of year, such a simple beauty. By the way they make a great bug killer.

The South is just exploding with them even in all the sandy soil. Numbers which have not been seen in a long time. Hundreds of wild flower photographers are flocking there to witness it and of course share their excitement for it.

We showed some from the HaBesor (the Besor) river during the week and decided to show some more today as the bloom there is just exceptional and can only take place like this in a 12th Biblical Month with sufficient rains as the soils are very sandy. Keep an eye on how young the wild barley is growing amongst the wild flowers there.

The domestic grain is moving slowly through the Zadok Growth Stages this cycle. Take note of the low sun illusion as to the age of the grain once again in some of these photos. You will see many of them only in the flowering stage but the low angle sunlight passing through the awns gives a more mature look. Simple but important understandings in the pattern of the grain growing cycle.

And of course the 4 legged lawnmowers are just enjoying all the green goat grasses.
