Sabbath March 7, 2026: Take 2

Hi again Folks,

We have a good newcomer session here. Old timers can also refresh the milestone we look for in the Abib Growing Cycle.

Often you will hear use refer to the 2 barley sisters witnessing together.

Both wild and domestic barley have 14 chromosomes consisting of 7 pairs of 2. Thus 14. What makes them different in their witnessing together is the simple fact that wild barley does not have the BT1-BT2 linked gene. That means it will shatter shortly after it reaches Zadok 8.3 dough stage. As a result of that it can't be harvested like its sister the domestic barley who has this gene and as a result, the head stays together for upwards of 6-8 weeks before it can be shattered thus making it the barley that has been harvested in the Land since before Abraham got there.

That is a simple fact.

I think of the 2 gene link as the spirit in man and the spirit of Elohim working together in us the humble grain and firstfruit with Christ/Messiah. We are designed to stick together through the tough times.

We are just entering the time frame where the wild barley growing amongst the domestic barley in good soil is showing her dominance in stature by standing tall above her domestic sister and entering her bow before her Creator. We will show you a lot of this in the coming weeks but for a visual for the newcomers here is a photo from today from the northern end of the Central Israel region.

Keep in mind both of these witnesses are about 10 days out from being physiologically mature. That is the Leviticus 2:14 minimum aviv standard.

Now for a little fun.

We posted 2 photos yesterday of a wheat field that appeared to be very yellow and mature. It was accompanied by a bunch of questions from me. There were some who used it to support their erroneous declaration of the 1st month when in fact it is the 12th Biblical Month.

Well today it is being cut for silage. Yes silage, and not for flour. Notice when the sun is high how much green it has in it. If you look at the overview of the area look to the right and you will see the very same tower and utility lines as in yesterdays photo.

Imagine that.

And we have even included one of the actual locations it is headed to.
