Hi once again guys,

From time to time I actually deal with lies and innuendos when they are of a nature to deceive and thus harm the brethren. That is what follows.

I received this communication from one of the brethren this morning who has been in contact with Joe Dumond.

Here is what he wrote me.

“Brian Convery, I appreciate your updates about Israel so much. Would you be willing to address a statement made by Joseph F. Dumond basically disqualifying you as a reliable witness because according to him you have not been in the Land since 2002 and him and his team of roadside barley hunters already found "viable" barley a month before any other witnesses in Israel and have already kept Shavuot (according to them)

I don't mean to condemn them; I would just like you or your witnesses who actually have access to fields of gold (as can be seen in the multitude of stunning photos that you have shared over the years) to help these poor souls see the error in their way.

I don't have a horse in this race; I'd just like facts to dispel myths as the salvation of souls is my only concern.

If this is not something that you would be interested in perhaps you could get someone with actual agricultural experience involved in that particular conversation.

I wrote back and said, you must have read something wrong for even Joe as full of himself as he is, and as deluded as he is, would never make such a stupid comment.

Well, I was wrong in some of that as you will see from the actual communication they had attached as a file below.

Once again, I did write back and asked that they notice the slight of hand of a grifter and a deceiver in that he says; “no post after 2002 contains any statement that he is in Israel.”

He goes on to base the rest of his claim on that lie as most of you know first hand I have been there all but 3 years in that time frame. Joe knows that for a fact, but that does not support his desire to deceive brethren and others to ingratiate himself to them and of course collect their cash.

All one has to do is read the reports and they will see who is actually there and who is not written on them. Even the videos make it clear it is me taking them.

His second lie is our site says we no longer go to the Land to inspect. You can’t make this stuff up unless you are Joe Dumond. Our site clearly states when we need to go to the land and the years in which we do not need to do so as most of you know. If a year looks to be questionable, I get on a plane to inspect the hundreds of locations we have in our inventory of traditionally early fields.

His 3rd lie is everything since 2002 has been second hand information.

It has become evident that none of the inspectors in the Land are capable of getting past their religious filters or the money. That includes a number of folks who travel to it in an effort to get you to walk according to their crooked walk. That is why we have written out all the instructions one needs to declare the year from afar for when the time comes we can no longer do so there.

And that time is coming brethren.

Very sad but also very true. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make it drink. We hope that if any of you listen to people like this that you will vet them carefully, or better yet just shake their dust off your shoes and keep your money in your pockets.
