Hi Guys,
Here is a great example for the new comers as to why we do not accept irrigated fields of domestic grain for a witness to the start of the year.
This field here is being harvested for silage today for the dairy operation.
We identified it to you back in November because it was being irrigated then to give it a big jump start. Of course it is the NW Negev.
This grain is just leaving the 7.9 range and crossing into the 8 range of dough. Perfect for the dairy cows but unusable for our purposes. Usually the harvesters would wait another week until 8.3 is reached in a majority of heads but there is a great need for the silage because of the destruction which was done here when Hamas destroyed much of the area towns and dairy operations.
Thus we will see a lot of this in this Abib Growing Cycle early. That is why they invested the time and money into using some of their water allotment to this purpose as we stated back when first posting about this location and others for that matter.
Always keep focused and aware.
Our peace we give to you.
