Good morning Guys,

We hope the work week is meeting your expectations and if it is not you still have a few more days to turn that around.

I thought I would send out a bunch of photos from this week for the old timers who have participated in the inspections with us in the Land in the past. For me they bring back lots of memories.

This is an are just south of Re'im off of barley alley (Rt 232) as we call it. It is in the NW Negev. You can see all the wild barley and domestic grains are all in the same Zadok stage of growth. That will change as soon as the rains stop as the region holds a lot of sanding untilled acreage which you will be seeing if you are not already familiar with it.

For the newer folks this area has and is used by some who report on the barley growth in the Land. Unfortunately they look to the "goat grass" the wild barley growing in unacceptable soils and locations as we have explained often in the past. These plants here move into an unnaturally forced rapid growth rate once the rains stop and which produces a very blemished plant. That is a Biblical abomination when used in place of a Most Holy Wavesheaf Offering candidate. Satan is very clever and very persuasive to a mind which strays from the truth.

If you look to the many domestic barley fields in this region growing next to these non agricultural locations you can fine wild and domestic barley growing in harmony as to their growth rates. That is why good ground does. They are what we call the 2 barley witnesses and in a few weeks we will start to see them as they compete to outdo the other in head height.
